Ariana Grande Is Coming To Fortnite August 6

Ariana Grande is headed to Fortnite. The Into You singer will become a virtual diva this month, August 6 through August 8, performing for Fortnite's upcoming Rift Tour.

Earlier this month, new Fortnite leaks began to surface from a typically credible source. The new details claimed that Suicide Squad would find its way to Fortnite soon following the new movie from DC, in addition to pop sensation Ariana Grande.

Starting this week, you'll finally get to see the artist make her Fortnite debut as she kicks off the Rift Tour on Friday. Epic is recommending any eager fans go ahead and try to show up at least an hour prior to showtime, as server woes and capacity limitations may mean you miss out if you're too late. If you want to catch one of Arian's shows, you've got five chances:

  • Friday, August 6 @ 6pm ET
  • Saturday, August 7 @ 2pm ET
  • Sunday, August 8 @ 12am ET
  • Sunday, August 8 @ 10am ET
  • Sunday, August 8 @ 6pm ET

To accompany her big show, Ariana's event will present the chance to grab her outfit and the PIggy Smallz Back Bling from the item shop on August 4. You'll also have Rift Tour quests to unlock, which can net you the Cosmic Cuddles Loading Screen, Rift-sterpiece Spray, and Cloud Kitty emoticon. And just for showing up to the Rift Tour, you'll receive a Cuddly Cloudcruser.

Ariana Grande isn't the first star to host a digital concert in Fortnite. We've already seen music sensations like Deadmau5 light up the arena, performing alongside Steve Aoki and Dillon Francis. Anderson .Paak also had a weekend to himself late last year. Perhaps most notably, Travis Scott performed back in 2020, and his Fortnite debuted netted him an easy $20 million.

Musical sensations aren't the only celebrities finding their way to the game. Confirming earlier rumors, Idris Elba took to Twitter last week to confirm his character from Suicide Squad, Bloodsport, would also arrive in Fortnite soon.
