Believe It! Naruto and Inuyasha Movies To Be Leaving Netflix Next Month

It’s sad, but believe it! Netflix is removing a lot of Naruto and Inuyasha movies next month.

Starting next month, fans of the future hokage and the half demon-half human will have to look elsewhere to watch their favorites battle it out. Netflix will be removing movies from both the Naruto and Inuyasha anime this Wednesday, September 1.

Netflix US will be losing three movies featuring the boy fused with the nine-tailed fox – Bonds, The Will of Fire, Blood Prison, Legend of the Stone of Gelel, Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow and Guardians of the Crescent Moon Kingdom. Netflix Canada will be losing more films, including the aforementioned ones, as well as Naruto Shippuden: The Movie and The Lost Tower. Additionally, Netflix Canada will not be losing the main anime series, although it was not clear if it will be lost in the US.

In regards to Inuyasha, only Netflix US has the Inuyasha movies and seems as though it will be losing all of them – Affections Touching Across Time, The Castle Beyond the Looking Glass, Swords of an Honorable Ruler and Fire on the Mystic Island. Netflix UK just received the main series and it looks like it won’t be removed from Netflix US as of yet.

In other anime news, Nintendo’s Fitness Boxing will be turning into an anime and will be available in Japan this October. Fans of the critically acclaimed neo-noir anime – Cowboy Bebop – can look forward to not only the live action adaption’s release this November, but also a prequel novel, as well as a comic book series, which will serve as companion pieces for the series. Additionally, Demon Slayer continues to make headlines as the last movie – Mugen Train – which takes place directly at the end of the first series, dramatically boosted sales of physical media in Japan.
