LMGs aren’t everyone’s cup of tea. While they’re great for shredding enemy hordes to pieces, their recoil and stability discounts them from making it into players’ inventories in competitive multiplayer games like Call of Duty: Warzone. However, if you manage to take out the recoil from an LMG, you could possibly get one over your opponents, like one YouTuber has shown us.
As spotted by GameRant, JGOD recently put out a video on their YouTube channel talking about how the RPD is one of the most underrated weapons in Warzone. The weapon boasts a good range and a huge clip size, giving it an edge over other weapons in its class. However, JGOD notes that it also has no recoil, making it a great choice for those who suffer from recoil issues.
They mention that the RPD starts off with “very little” vertical recoil, but after about fifteen to twenty rounds, your aiming reticule will stay fixed to one spot with “no recoil”. Based on the video, JGOD seems to be right; we can see them using the weapon, and after about a few shots, the gun is absolutely stable.

However they also shared the attachments they’ve used in order to get the best out of the RPD. Firstly, They’ve used a GRU Suppressor as a muzzle; not only will it help keep you more quiet, but also help with the stability. Next, a Task Force Barrel and a Axial Arms 3x Optic were attached. The Spetsnaz Grip further bolstered the recoil, and a 120 Round magazine ensured that they could keep firing away without worrying about reloading in tense situations.
Unfortunately, Call of Duty: Warzone has been dealing with cheaters for a while. The latest issue is thanks to an AI-powered cheat tool which provides PC-quality hacks for console players. The Anti-Cheat Police Department Twitter account said that the cheat would make use of a machine-learning algorithm to react to gameplay faster than a human ever could. However, Activision has moved to clamp down on this cheat by taking down the video that showcased the tool.
Hacking has become a nuisance in Warzone, with new methods coming out everyday. In May, Raven Software revealed that half a million accounts had been banned till now for using hacks and exploits.
