10 The Chopper

  • Augments: Discipline, Stoneskin
  • How to obtain: Beat every wave of The Crucible with a perfect score.

As a reward for achieving eight perfect rounds in The Crucible, The Chopper is a powerful axe that comes with the Discipline and Stoneskin augments. It's a well-rounded weapon that any character can utilize, although the requirement for obtaining this weapon is arguably not worth the effort.

9 The Enforcer

It acts similar to a shotgun, destroying any foe that dares to get close. Albion has 50 hidden gargoyles for players to find and destroy. The reward for destroying all 50 is The Rammer, a Crossbow that strongly resembles Van Helsing's weapon of choice. It deals a massive 119 damage with each bolt and comes with the Bewitching, Flame, and Ghoul augments. Its ability to light targets aflame from a distance while also healing the player makes it a great secondary weapon for melee characters.

7 The Perforator

  • How to obtain: Open Wraithmarsh's Demon Door (escort ten or more follows to the door).

Few Turret Rifles can compete with The Perforator. This weapon has a six-round magazine, deals 81 damage per shot, and is unique in that its reload speed is 0.75 seconds per barrel. This reload is incredibly fast compared to the 1.1 second standard most Turret Rifles abide by. While the Wraithmarsh Demon Door requirement for this gun will take some time to complete, the reward is more than worth the hassle.

A mace that deals 67 damage might seem underwhelming to most, especially for when players can obtain it, but The Calavera is no ordinary mace. This weapon dominates against clusters of foes as it does fantastic area damage with its ground slams. When combines with its Flame augment, few enemies can stand the devastating blows from this weapon. For those who wish to achieve eight perfect rounds of The Crucible, this weapon makes that activity dramatically easier.

5 The Red Dragon

No ranged weapon can compete with The Red Dragon. It might appear to be just an ordinary pistol, but The Red Dragon allows players to fire it as fast as they can press the attack button. Even with its 0.75 second reload time, it can unload 6 shots in the blink of an eye. Players that have mastered unloading this fierce weapon can out damage The Enforcer, the strongest Blunderbuss in the game.

4 The Wreckager

  • How to obtain: Clear the Hall of the Dead (Requires the Bonus Game Content DLC).

One of the strongest weapons in Fable 2 is The Wreckager, a legendary Cutlass that can carve through opponents at rapid speeds while dealing 65 damage a swing. It has the Fear Itself, Golden Touch, and Stoneskin augments. Any swashbuckling pirate or melee enthusiasts will want this devastating weapon. It's just a shame it is obtained so late in a playthrough.

3 The Hammerthyst

  • Augments: Barkskin
  • How to obtain: Open the Oakfield Demon Door (Get married in front of the door, or blow it a kiss if already married).

While The Hammerthyst won't output as much damage per second as The Wreckager, this weapon is obtained so early in the game that its a must for any melee character. Opening the Oakfield Demon Door will reveal the Homestead, and inside they'll find this beast of a Hammer. Each swing does 78 damage, overshadowing nearly every other weapon in the first half of a given playthrough. It also comes with the Barkskin augment to help with staying alive during hectic melee skirmishes.

2 Royal Sceptre

  • Damage: 90
  • Augments: Four empty slots
  • How to obtain: Complete "The Colosseum" quest (requires the See The Future DLC).

Introduced in the See The Future DLC for Fable 2, the Royal Sceptre is the most versatile melee weapon in the game due to its 4 empty augment slots. Even with its high base damage of 90, the Royal Sceptre attacks so fast it is only beaten by The Daichi. That said, players that prefer the versatility and utility of augments will likely gravitate towards the Royal Sceptre.

Only the Royal Sceptre comes close to matching the sheer power of The Daichi Katana. Its base damage is 96 and it has one of the fastest attack speeds in the game. As a Katana, it also has fantastic reach for a melee weapon. With the Devastation, Bewitching, and Killerwatt augments, The Daichi overshadows every other weapon in Fable 2 in terms of its ease of use and sheer damage output.
