FIFA Reveals FUT Hero Stats For Morientes And Mostovoi

Earlier last month, FIFA 22 revealed the FUT Heroes coming to the game’s Ultimate Team mode. While these players weren’t really the best players in the world, they were remembered for their contribution to club and country, and were immortalised by certain crowning moments. EA revealed these FUT Heroes as superheroes on comic book covers, giving them powers and cool nicknames. Not much else was revealed, but we do finally know the stats for two of them; the problem is, not many young FIFA players may know who they are.

“FUT Heroes have unique league-specific chemistry which is tied to their specific hero moment, providing a green Club link to any player within the same league as well as the usual nation link, giving you new ways to build your dream squad and recreate some of football's most famous moments in FUT 22,” says the EA website.

FIFA revealed the full stats for two of the FUT Heroes who used to play in La Liga. You may have heard of Fernando Morientes who used to play for the likes of Real Madrid, Liverpool, Valencia, and Marseilles. A natural born striker, Morientes got a 90 for Shooting, 84 for Pace, and 83 for Dribbling. His 77 for Passing, however, leaves a lot to be desired. His FUT Heroes moment was a trademark header to the back post for Real Madrid in the 2000 UEFA Champions League final.

His fellow league-mate however is the relatively lesser known of the two. Nicknamed ‘El Zar’ (The Tsar) by the adoring Celta Vigo fans, Aleksandr Mostovoi stormed forward from midfield, scoring two goals against Real Sociedad to take his team to the Champions League in 2003. His midfield presence got him an 86 in Passing, 88 in Dribbling, and an 83 in shooting.

While FIFA 22 is still a while away, a few details about the game have leaked. We learnt the FUT ratings of some of the top players in the game, as well as the Manchester United starting lineup. Additionally, a leak also revealed a full team celebration animation that would take place if you score a last minute goal.
