You can now request to join the Fruit Ninja VR 2 Playtest on Steam.
The game is set to launch in late 2021 but, if you want to play it early, you can press "Request Access" on its store page. You'll either be denied or granted permission. If you do get in, a message will pop up that says, "Welcome to the playtest."

From here, Fruit Ninja VR 2 Playtest will be added to your Steam library. It's a total of 425 MB so it won't eat up hard drive space.

This mobile turned VR title comes from Halfbrick Studios and it brings the same fruit-splattering action of the original games to a more interactive environment.
In the second VR outing, you have a selection of weapons from bows to swords which you can use to take out your frustration on these hapless fruits. Luckily, they aren't living creatures like the food of Bugsnax.
"Fruit Ninja VR 2 takes the classic arcade VR experience to incredible new heights," the page opens, "Packed full of gorgeous areas to explore, never before seen fruit-slicing techniques, and juicy new ways to interact with the environment and other ninjas around the globe! Expand your arsenal with the bow, slice your way through unique challenges and explore the scenic Fruit Ninja temple grounds."
There's no concrete release date just yet nor is a price listed but you can get into the action early right now with the playtest and even join the Discord to share your feedback. Happy slicing.
