Halo Infinite Multiplayer Can Be Tested Ahead of Late 2021 Launch

Select Halo Insiders Can Test Halo Infinite Multiplayer Combat Ahead of Everyone

Halo Infinite is expected to be one of the biggest games to come to the gaming community. It was originally decided to be the launch title for Microsoft’s Xbox Series X/S consoles, but COVID-19 had other plans for it. It would seem that the pandemic was its biggest cause of delay, in addition to the need for some tweaks following some less than favourable critique from fans after its gameplay was revealed.

343 Industries had already confirmed on social media that, from July 29th to August 1st, a group of selected players will be able to experience Halo Infinite multiplayer combat. However, it does not look like Halo Infinite multiplayer will be featuring any actual PvP. Based on what was revealed in the technical preview, there will be four human players who will be fighting against four AI bots in the franchise’s classic Slayer mode. There are three arenas that the players can test, in addition to some individual academy weapon drills.

Halo Infinite Multiplayer

343 Industries has promised that, if everything goes well, they will add more features to upcoming Halo Infinite multiplayer preview to make it even more interesting and enticing to gamers. More traditional PvP fights, including the Big Team Battle mode, will be part of the next previews.

This would be the first time that a large group of gamers are given the opportunity to play Halo Infinite multiplayer ahead of its official launch—which will be later this year. These gamers will be selected from the Halo Insider roster, which is comprised of players who signed up on 343’s website. It must be noted, however, that registration to Halo Insiders will not guarantee a spot in this preview or the next one.

Those who are selected will be tasked to test the Halo Infinite multiplayer gameplay and to give their feedback on what they think needs to be changed or improved, such as menus, user interface, weapons, modes, and maps.
