We have received word from 343 Industries community manager John Junyszek that Halo Infinite will have its multiplayer beta test outlined in this month's Inside Infinite newsletter. And since there really isn't that much of this month left, that means those details will be coming very soon.
Junyszek took to Twitter today to clarify a few things for the Halo community. First was that this month's Inside Infinite would be about "flighting," which is a confusing phrase if you don't already know that 343 calls their technical beta test a "flight."
There was also some confusion in the Halo Infinite community about flight invitations having already been sent out. They haven't, but we'll learn more about those invitations in the upcoming Inside Infinite.
"Invites to a Halo Infinite technical preview have *not* been sent out," Junyszek clarified. "Again, you will know when and what is happening beforehand (via Inside Infinite)."

We're very likely just days away from Inside Infinite coming along and giving all the sweet, juicy details on Halo's first-ever free-to-play multiplayer mode. We already have plenty of details already (which you can read about in our previous guide here), but that doesn't mean there still aren't a few surprises in store.
However, some Halo fans are going to miss out on the Halo Infinite beta test. Community director Brian Jarrard recently stated that there are at least "six figures worth" on Halo Insiders that haven't completed all the required steps to sign up for the Infinite multiplayer test and will tragically miss their chance at getting in on the fun.
If you’re a Halo Insider who thought they could just skip past part of the Infinite multiplayer signup, go back into your profile to finish those missing steps. There’s probably not a lot of time left to sign up, so get on it!
