Down below we will outline exactly where you need to be in order to get the Jirachi photo, and all of the steps leading up to it, which will end in you completing the Myth of the Ruins Request. This will definitely have you on your way to filling up your Photodex with all the Pokemon from this area.

How To Complete The Myth Of The Ruins Request In New Pokemon Snap

This Request takes place in the Ruins of Remembrance during Ruins. The Ruins of Remembrance is the final area you unlock, and you will need to finish the rest of the game before you get here. You will need to be at least Research Level 2, though you can also complete this particular Request on Research Level 3.

As the stage starts, you will actually be able to spot Jirachi flying near the Ancient Ruins. Jirachi can actually fly away here – stop is by hitting it with an Illumina Orb, and it will return to the ruins, and we will be able to meet it inside.

Inside the large primary circular chamber, there are six different kinds of Crystalblooms, and you will need to hit them all. Luckily, they're not too hidden. You will need to hit all of the Crystalblooms in here, and you will also spot Jirachi sitting on top of the third monument – make sure to hit it with a Crystalbloom, and take a few pics as it flies around.

Eventually, you will come to a circle of lit Crystalbloom flowers, with a single unlit flower in the centre. Throw the Illumina Orb at it, and a Jirachi will fly out once again, this time lingering near the Golurk and Chandelure.

Once again you will need to hit Jirachi with an Illumina Orb, and then play the melody with the R button. Now Jirachi will fly over towards the teleporter – make sure to snap some pics. Eventually, it will circle back around towards you, and pose with a sparkly display. Snap plenty of pics, because this is the four-star opportunity. Sometimes Jirachi does not pose, and it seems to depend on whether you take pictures of it prior to the pose.

Once you got the pic, hand it in to Professor Mirror. This is the four-star Jirachi pic you needed, and this will complete the Myth of the Ruins Request in New Pokemon Snap.
