PUBG: Battlegrounds Releases Its Halloween Themed Update On Consoles Following Its PC Release
PUBG: Battlegrounds is a battle royale video game that first released in 2016 and has seen insane success since then. The game is now available on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, iOS, Android and Google Stadia. In PUBG: Battlegrounds, one hundred players are thrown into the battlefield to scavenge for supplies while defeating their enemies and avoiding death. As the developers continue to release more content, it has announced that its Halloween Themed Update 14.1 is now live on consoles, following its release on PC servers last week.
In the update, various zones across the Erangel map have been updated with spooky, Halloween decorations including weather effects, the fog and the moon’s unique color. Besides the cosmetic changes to the map, Update 14.1 introduces a new gameplay feature, Carry. Carry is available on all maps and it is sure to change the game’s dynamics as players can carry a downed ally to safety and revive them. Alternatively, they can pick up a downed enemy and use them as a shield against incoming fire.
The new ranked season will run for two months and all rewards gained from Season 13 has been added to players’ inventories. Furthermore, in Erangel, the Pochinki drop zone has been altered to include new waterways, cover and fences along with changes to the church building.
In the new season, the map rotation is set to be:
o Normal Matches:
- Erangel
- Miramar
- Sanhok
- Taego
- Paramo
o Ranked Matches:
- Erangel
- Miramar
- Taego
- Paramo
