Destiny 2 players can start a new Exotic quest this week, as it was part of the narrative for Season of the Lost with yesterday's reset. In fact, the A Hollow Coronation quest can be picked up when first logging into the game after the reset, and upon completing it, Destiny 2 players will obtain the new Kinetic Stasis Exotic trace rifle by the name of Ager's Sceptre.
How to Get Ager's Sceptre – A Hollow Coronation – Step 1
To get the A Hollow Coronation quest, players should go to the HELM and interact with the Wayfinder's Compass. The quest will require players to have completed Tracing the Stars 1-3, and it comes in twelve steps. Step 1 is about speaking with Mara Sov, accessing her chambers through the portal in the Awoken section of the HELM.

How to Get Ager's Sceptre – A Hollow Coronation – Step 2
Step 2 is a mini-quest on its own, as it involves finding all five Atlas Skews for week 4. These are found in The Confluence area and its surroundings, in the Dreaming City. For a full guide on how to find all Atlas Skews, please refer to this one: Destiny 2: Atlas Skew Locations (Tracing The Stars 4 – A Hollow Coronation Exotic Quest)
How to Get Ager's Sceptre – A Hollow Coronation – Step 3
After players get all Atlas Skews, they can go back to the HELM and access the area for the A Hollow Coronation quest. Here, players will get to place the Atlas Skews in the Caliburn Gatehouse, which will unlock step 4.
How to Get Ager's Sceptre – A Hollow Coronation – Step 4
In step 4, players will simply have to go through the gate that opened in Caliburn Gatehouse, and from there enter the Dozmary Vault.
The objective is to claim Ager's Sceptre, but players will find it is locked behind a protective ward. Mara will instruct players on what to do next.
How to Get Ager's Sceptre – A Hollow Coronation – Step 5
For step five, players have to go back to Mara in her chambers, which prompts the sixth step of the quest.
How to Get Ager's Sceptre – A Hollow Coronation – Step 6
Step 6 can take a bit longer than most others because it requires players to get a bunch of Parallax Trajectory, but also kill enemies with any rifle in Astral Alignment.
Luckily, this includes the Season's meta, fusion rifles.
How to Get Ager's Sceptre – A Hollow Coronation – Step 7
For step 7, players will once again have to play a few Astral Alignment activities, as the requirement is to kill 20 enemies with any Super and 18 Champions. Any AoE Super will work wonders for the Super kills requirement. As for the Champion kills bit, players don't have to deal the final blow, but rather just have someone on the team kill the Champions.
How to Get Ager's Sceptre – A Hollow Coronation – Step 8
Step 8 consists of three Strikes to be completed. These are specific Strikes, so going through the playlist is not recommended at all.
The first Strike is Lake of Shadows, which is one of the fastest in the game, and it is found in the EDZ.
Completing it will award players with an Exotic item called Strand of Nobility.
The second Strike is The Disgraced, which is found in the Cosmodrome.
Again, completing it will award another Strand of Nobility.
The third and final Strike is The Glassway, found on Europa. While this is the order they are in inside the quest tab, players can actually complete all three Strikes in any order.
The Glassway will award the final Strand of Nobility upon completion, thus starting step 9.
How to Get Ager's Sceptre – A Hollow Coronation – Step 9
For step 9 of the A Hollow Coronation quest, players should return to the HELM and speak with Mara Sov. She will give them a new item, called Noble Seal, which will allow them to finally claim Ager's Sceptre.
How to Get Ager's Sceptre – A Hollow Coronation – Step 10
Claiming the Noble Seal from Mara starts step 10 of the quest.
Players should open their Map tab and access the area for the A Hollow Coronation quest in the HELM.
They will be taken back to Caliburn Gatehouse, where the portal in the middle will allow them to access the Dozmary Vault.
Here, players will get to claim Ager's Sceptre for themselves and equip it right away.
How to Get Ager's Sceptre – A Hollow Coronation – Step 11
This immediately starts step 11 of the quest, which tasks players with using Ager's Sceptre to destroy the rocks that block the exit from the Dozmary Vault.
The room after that contains a boss by the name of Kelgorath, Risen From Bones, a Hive Knight. This is mainly an area where players can test Ager's Sceptre in combat as well, as it keeps getting more ammo, whereas this wouldn't be the case in normal activities.
How to Get Ager's Sceptre – A Hollow Coronation – Step 12
Clearing all the enemies from the area completes step 11, and it grants access to step 12.
To complete the quest, players should go back to the HELM and talk to Mara once more. This triggers a cutscene that's relevant to the story of Season 15.
Afterward, the quest is complete, and players can keep Ager's Sceptre.
Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
