We're going to give you a step-by-step guide on how to find Lugia and snap an amazing picture down below, so don't skip over a single detail, otherwise you might miss out on getting a shot of this incredible Pokemon.
How To Find Lugia In New Pokemon Snap
Lugia is hidden deep within Lental Seafloor in New Pokemon Snap, during Undersea. Not only that, but you need to take two separate alternate paths in order to uncover where Lugia sleeps, and that's no easy feat.
Luckily, we have a full guide right here on how you can uncover the first alternate path in Undersea.
Once you've got that hatch open, you should complete the A Light In The Depths Request, which we also have a guide for here. If you want to wake up Lugia, you need to complete the steps listed in the A Light In The Depths Request every time, so make sure to play through the steps listed in that guide in detail.
Once you've completed the specified steps from the last Request, you can follow Lanturn, and eventually, you'll see that it takes an alternate path, with you can follow by scanning. Here is where you'll find Lugia, and now it's time to get the four-star snap.
How To Complete The Seafloor Roar Four-Star Luigia Request In New Pokemon Snap
Once you've found Lugia to your right as you enter the new alternate route, you need to immediately hit two Crystalbloom flowers, on to the right on Lugia in front of the creature, and then another in the back left, far behind it. You'll need to angle your shot for that last one. Hitting both Crystalbloom flowers will wake up Lugia, and it's now your job to pelt it with Fluffruit.
I don't know why, but this is how it has to happen. Lugia will now start swimming around the area, and when it does you must throw more Fluffruit at it and make contact – Lugia will sometimes do a twirl animation when this works. There are at least two instances where you must hit Lugia with Fluffruit.
Once it's done, Lugia will strike a big pose because screaming, and this is the Seafloor Roar we came to capture, so make sure you take plenty of pictures.
This will give you a four-star snap to deliver to Professor Mirror. This whole process may take several attempts, but it definitely works.
As a Reward for completing this Request, you'll be given the Todd (Surprised) profile icon. The pic really is just that good.
