The hype train for The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim still seems to be going strong, despite the game having come out a decade ago. With new additions coming to the Anniversary Edition of the Bethesda epic, it seems as though players will continue to discover new things to keep them occupied while the world waits for the next installment. Outside the game itself, fans are also hard at work bringing elements of Tamriel to life. One person has recently put their skills to use by crafting a piece of jewelry popular in the realm.
Posting to the Skyrim Subreddit recently, user SecilEldek has shown they are a master crafts person by recreating the Amulet of Mara, which they've made using real silver. The image uploaded shows just how proficient the user is, particularly with the level of detail that's gone into creating the amulet. It even has the blue jewel in the middle, and while they haven't yet created the chain to go with it, it's still a remarkably impressive piece of work.

Of course, people in the Reddit thread have left words of praise, with one commenter insisting that they be able to buy it from SecilEldek. The creator of the item joked in the thread's title, saying that their Amulet of Mara would be perfect for marrying Lord Harkon the Nord vampire who can be found in the Dawnguard expansion. It remains to be seen whether the user will give further details about how they created it, or even upload a video showing their process, but in the meantime, people can admire the image and the skill that's gone into making it.

For those who aren't aware, the Amulet of Mara is used in Skyrim to propose marriage. The amulet is relatively easy to find and can be obtained either by players purchasing it from a couple of traders, or by completing "The Book of Love" quest. It's even possible to find the item as random loot. However, it's fair to warn fans that marriage in Skyrim is limited only to certain races. Khajit, Bosmer, male Redguards, and male Altmers cannot tie the knot in the game, for some reason.
In general, what it shows is that fans in the community have many talents, and are interested to show their skills as well as their love for the game. It's not just instruments of love that players make, either. One person recently made the Dragon Priest staff and the Staff of Destruction. Such craftsmanship is proof of just how much the game has an affect on the fan base when some are willing to bring aspects to life.
