We were excited to see what Sega had in store for us at Sonic Central. The event’s highlight was Sonic Colors Ultimate.
Despite the announcement of a new Sonic game and the release of Sonic Collection – which we talked about in an article yesterday – Sega announced Sonic Colors Ultimate through both the Sonic Central event and Nintendo’s YouTube channel.
Blind Squirrel Entertainment will give the world’s most renowned blue hedgehog a makeover, including new visual effects, new features, a new mode, and gameplay enhancements.
As is common in the franchise, Dr. Eggman concocts one of his wicked schemes, this time involving a large amusement park full of exciting attractions. Being a diabolical villain, Eggman’s amusement park only operates because of the enslaved alien species known as the Wisps.
Our task will be to free them with our incredible speed, exploring six colorful worlds such as Sweet Mountain and Aqua Park. Furthermore, Sonic will be transformed because of the Wisps’ power, allowing him to easily defeat enemies and break through solid objects to discover alternate paths.
