ADayOffTwitch Trends As Steamers Boycott Over Hate Raids
Numerous Twitch steamers have been targeted by hate raids, in which bots overwhelm their chats with abusive language including racial slurs, Nazi imagery, and more. Since this seems to be happening more and more often, streamers have decided to stand together and boycott Twitch on September 1 as a statement that this will not be tolerated. Roblox Is Reportedly "Exploiting" Young Developers
It seems that Roblox is being accused of exploiting young developers, specifically by promising them that they can earn “serious cash,” despite that not being the reality. Roblox is telling developers that they will be able to make money through user-created levels, but it's actually very unlikely that they'll be able to do so. The process for being able to earn actual money through Roblox is complex, and you can read about it here. In short, it is technically possible, but overwhelmingly rare, which is not how it's being presented by Roblox.
Sifu Confirmed To Appear At Gamescom With "Exciting News"
The Sifu official Twitter account posted a short video of gameplay, and promised that the game will be shown at Gamescom Opening Night Live presentation on August 27. If you take this and combine it with the news that developer Sloclap has promised “exciting news” soon for Sifu, it seems more than likely that the game will finally be getting a release date at the upcoming Gamescom event. The game was delayed to early 2022, so this would be the appropriate time to reveal a more specific date.
