The Elder Scrolls games have been around since the mid-1990s, with Skyrim being the latest. With each installment being bigger in scope, lore, and more immense in popularity, the series has made its studio, Bethesda, a household name in the video game world. One aspect of the games is the sheer number of characters, set pieces, and costumes. With fans of Skyrim more than willing to show off their cosplay of certain NPCs, the franchise's fantasy aesthetic continues to inspire people to create real life versions of their favorite outfits.
One Elder Scrolls fan did just that recently. Posting a series of images to the Skyrim Subreddit, the user has shown off an incredible costume that they've made which relates to the Telvanni House, specifically from The Elder Scrolls Online. The images depict a very authentic, and finely detailed, set of robes with a gilded trim and leather belt. On top of that, the user has also created an amazing staff, again with an incredible amount of detail showing just how much work has been put into both items.

The user has said that the whole outfit and the staff has taken them about a year and half to complete, with bouts of creativity occurring in between semesters at college. The images show an impressive level of skill, and it's hardly surprising given that this isn't the first Elder Scrolls costume they've made. They also said that they've made Skyrim's Nightingale armor complete with bow, which they showed off a couple of years ago. Clearly, they are well-versed in bringing Elder Scrolls outfits to life.

For those who are unaware, or not quite as well versed on Elder Scrolls lore as the above Reddit user, gear depicted refers to House Telvanni. This is a part of a series of Great Houses associated with the third Elder Scrolls game, Morrowind. House Telvanni is linked to the Dunmer people of the land, who are the native inhabitants of Morrowind. Along with the other Great Houses, it is run by a series of powerful wizards that form the Telvanni Council.
The Elder Scrolls Online is, as the name suggests, an MMO version of the series, with players engaging in online roleplaying activities in the continent of Tamriel. Recently, it was announced that ESO would be getting some new DLC called Waking Flame. On top of that, fans are still waiting to hear about any possible news regarding the next Elder Scrolls game, but for now, fans can continue to put their efforts into making amazing cosplay outfits using inspiration from the current titles.
The Elder Scrolls Online is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
