THQ Nordic is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a digital showcase featuring some of the publisher's most exciting up-and-coming games. The show will be broadcast on September 17 at 12 PM PST (3 PM EST) on YouTube, Twitch, and Steam.
Geoff Keighley will host the event having just recently hosted Gamescom's Opening Night Live. THQ promises six new game announcements "that will take you on a journey through time and space."
"Witness the return of legendary franchises," the publisher adds, "including some for which fans have been waiting decades to get their hands on a new installment, and you can also expect to see sequels to beloved games."
This is pure speculation, but Embracer Group (THQ Nordic's parent company) recently acquired 3D Realms, makers of Duke Nukem. Could the Duke be one of those "legendary franchises" set to make a comeback?
THQ Nordic confirmed that we'll get new information on Elex II and as well as a gameplay reveal for Expeditions: Rome. In its trailer, THQ Nordic also listed a bunch of recently released games, like Biomutant, Spellforce 3, Desperados 3, and the Destroy All Humans! remake. Perhaps some expansion announcements are in the cards.
