In anticipation of WarioWare: Get It Together!'s launch next month, Nintendo has launched a free demo that is available right now on the Nintendo Switch eShop.
Unlike prior WarioWare games, Get It Together! lets you play as other characters beyond just the titular mustachio man himself. The demo lets you trial out this more expansive nature with a select few microgames.

"Wario is back! But this time, his friends are also playable," the demo page opened. "In WarioWare: Get It Together!, play through a vast array of quick microgames as Wario or his friends. Each character has a distinct ability, cahnging the way you tackle each microgame. For the first time in the series, two players can also play microgames together on the same screen by sharing two Joy-Con controllers, or using wireless play with an adidtional system and game."
If you were on the fence about WarioWare, this new demo should serve to help you decide. As for what 'microgames' are – they're basically minigames. It's a series of tasks to complete in a small time frame.
They often utilize the features of the hardware they launch on such as with the DS' microgame that had you blowing out candles with the new microphone feature and the Wii version that turned the remote into a telephone.
This year is the 18th anniversary of WarioWare, so it can finally buy some cough supressants! Wario probably needs some with how gravelly his laugh gets – he definitely has a sore throat.
