Golden Wastelands is completely different from any of the previous Realms that you encounter in Sky: Children Of The Light. It has an eerie feel to it and you're going to come up against more than one enemy. This means that navigating your way through the Realm to rescue trapped Spirits can be a little challenging.

This guide is going to help you find every single Spirit that this Realm has, there are 6 in total, and it will show you how you can reach them.
It's strongly recommended that you find all the Winged Lights in previous Realms before starting this one, as you're going to need as much help as you can get to escape some of the enemies.
Winged Lights In Previous Realms:
Spirit One – Fainting Warrior
As soon as you arrive in Golden Wastelands you need to turn and fly to your left. You will see a row of broken structures in the water. This is the one you need to head for:
Behind this, there will be your first Spirit. Walk up to them and interact with them with Y.
Spirit two – Frightened Refugee
The second Spirit in Golden Wasteland will be directly ahead from where you arrived. Keep running forwards but be mindful of the bodies of water as they will dim your Light. At the far side of this area, past the Winged Light, the Spirit will be waiting at the end of a broken bridge.

Walk up to them and interact with them by pressing Y. Then, follow their memory trail until you come to the Trapped Spirit. To set them free, walk up to them and press Y.
Spirit Three – Courageous Soldier
When you have rescued the first Spirit and come out on the other side of the cave, head for the big doorway directly ahead of you. This will take you into the next area and the next Spirit will be straight in front of you.
All you need to do is press Y to interact with it and follow the same steps as you did previously.
Warning: Be quick and careful in this area, there is a Dark Dragon roaming around and if it spots you, it will come down and bite you. This will remove your entire Light charge.
Spirit Four – Stealthy Survivor
Your next Spirit will be waiting for you in the next area. There are a few Dragons in this area so you need to be careful when you move towards the other end. There are plenty of covered areas that you can hide in where they cannot spot you.
When you have triggered the memory sequence of this Spirit, you're going to need to brave the Dragons head-on.
Spirit Five – Lookout Scout
Exit the area where you found Stealthy Survivor then run through this area into the next one. Once you're in this section, you will need to run across a vast and open area. Don't worry, there are no Dragons here to worry about. Keep running until you pass through a stone doorway.

When you're on the other side of this doorway, go forwards until you see the Spirit appears on your left. All you need to do is interact with them and follow their memories to set them free.
Spirit Six – Saluting Captain
To get to the last Spirit you need to complete the Realm, head home by choosing the Home option from the menu that appears when you press X. Then you need to head back into Golden Wastelands through the Portal entrance.
Then you need to head back through Golden Wastelands until you come to the area that has the first Dark Dragon in it.
Pass through this area and when you start sliding as you come out of it, look to your right. You should see a cave that is locked by a Spirit gate.
You only need to have saved 1 Spirit to unlock the gate, but the area is much easier if you have played the rest of the Realm first.
Head into this area and when you come to the opening, you will see a Shipwreck in the distance. You have to make a dash for this whilst being mindful of the Dark Crabs and the moody Dark Dragon.
When you're on top of the Shipwreck in the center, head to the other side of it and look down. The Spirit will be on some rocks below you.
All you need to do is trigger their memory sequence and follow them. The Dragon shouldn't bother you but be on your guard just in case.
