‘90s R&B Group All-4-One Swears It’s All There In Xbox All Access Music Video

You can really tell who's in charge of Microsoft's marketing department these days. When it came time to get a music video for Xbox All Access, senior marketing manager Bogdan Bilan thought only of '90s R&B band All-4-One and their hit 1995 single, "I Swear," which won the group that year's Grammy award for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals.

More than a quarter-century later, All-4-One returns to remix "I Swear" into "It's All There," a two-minute music video about how great it is to pay Microsoft $25 a month for an Xbox Series S and an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription ($35 a month if you want the more powerful Xbox Series X).

"As gamers begin the next generation of play on Xbox Series X|S, we do so remembering the great experiences we had before with excitement for what’s to come. And no one knows how to navigate the waters of love, loss, and love again than 90s R&B singers," wrote Bilan in today's music video reveal. "So, we thought, what better way to celebrate the reimagining of how you can join Xbox with the all-inclusive offer of Xbox All Access than with the ‘90s R&B sensation, All-4-One, reimagining 'I Swear,' their 1994 ballad?"

"It's All There" couldn't be more '90s if it tried. The progression from black leather to white suits, the Crisco-smeared lenses, the 4:3 aspect ratio–all of it screams the '90s louder than an actual '90s R&B band can sing.

While the presentation is questionable, the message is still worth listening to. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate starts at $15, so throwing an extra $10 for an Xbox Series S is a really good deal. Although, we hasten to point out that if you’ve got a decent internet connection, Game Pass Ultimate comes with Xbox Cloud Gaming, so you really don’t technically need the console at all.
