Among Us Adds Point & Click While Using Keyboard Support

When playing Among Us on PC, you have two options – point & click or keyboard movement. However, a new patch is coming that will allow for you to use both simultaneously.

AbleGamers COO Steven Spohn tweeted, "Hey Among Us, it sure would be swell if you allowed mouse AND keyboard inputs at the same time. Love, suspicious murderer."

Among Us' official Twitter account replied, stating that it's something on the list. It also clarified that it agrees that the option should be added. Spohn then asked when this would be coming to which Among Us replied, "It should be the next patch."

Currently, you can move with keyboard controls and then interact with tasks via mouse, but you cannot move with the mouse and still have keyboard inputs. This upcoming patch should allow for both mouse and keyboard to be used at the same time, letting you alternate or mix the two on the fly without zipping between the two settings. However, it's unknown when Among Us' next patch will be released.

AbleGamers was founded in 2004 with the goal of pushing for better accessibility in gaming. Only recently, the Spawn Together campaign raised $1 million in fundraising for the charity. They not only push for better accessibility but they also support disabled people in "combatting social isolation through play." You can make a donation here if you wish to help.

Among Us is available on PS5, mobile, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
