Some players spent countless hours exploring every single nook and cranny of England, finding all the wealth, solving every mystery, and collecting every artifact. For these Assassin's Creed Valhalla players, it was likely exciting when the Siege of Paris DLC brought about a whole new region with more to hunt down. Still, even for these diehard collectors, the Cairn challenges in the game can be a real pain, and Siege of Paris brings more of these to tackle. Whether players love or hate these cairn mysteries, the new one in the Melunois region is especially challenging.
The general idea of these cairn challenges in Assassin's Creed Valhalla is that players must stack stones on top of one another until they reach a specific height. There is not usually only one right answer, and players are encouraged to be as creative as possible when solving these. Unfortunately, the physics engine can sometimes be very finicky, and Eivor's ability to only lift or move one rock at a time also doesn't help.

Most of these cairn puzzles in Assassin's Creed Valhalla can be solved simply by laying the rocks flat and stacking them on top of each other, but that doesn't work here. No matter how the player stacks the rocks, they will not reach the goal marker above without standing at least one of them up. in some way. The trick here is to find which rocks have flat edges that can stand on their own. It's best to experiment with each rock separately to find some good candidates.
Surprisingly, one of the largest rocks of the bunch has a very flat side and is fairly easy to stand up. Although the instinct is to keep this rock low due to its weight, it will have to go on the top for this method to work. Stack the remaining rocks in whatever way the player sees fit, making an effort to keep the tower as flat as possible. Once at the top, take the large rock and rotate it so that it stands up as above. Be patient with this cairn challenge in Assassin's Creed Valhalla and eventually it should work.
Alternatively, players wanting to get a bit fancy could form a bridge like structure. Using the same large rock from the last solution and at least once more, stand them up with some space between them. The other large rock is wide and flat, and works perfectly as a bridge. With two more remaining, lay one down to create a flat surface and stand the other one up carefully. This should work to solve the mystery and the Eivor's cairn creates a pretty cool landmark atop this mountain.
