Do you still remember the classic Star Trek games that came out back in the ‘90s and early ‘00s? If you need a refresher, Star Trek Armada 1 and Armada 2, Star Trek Bridge Commander, and Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force and Elite Force 2 are all games that have now become iconic—and apparently, we might be seeing them again soon.

As first pointed out by GameFront, the games listed above might be getting a release on GOG Galaxy in the near future. We’ve been led to believe this because the game cards for titles on the platform recently were updated with new CBS copyright watermarks. At this point, all of them now show a new copyright watermark with the CBS and ARR marks. CBS is the current rights holder to Star Trek, but the franchise was still under the umbrella of Paramount back when these games were originally released. This suggests something new is to come soon.
Part of what makes this such a big deal is that you cannot currently purchase these games digitally from anywhere, so it would be great to see these games get a solid new home. If you’re unfamiliar, GOG Galaxy is essentially a place in which people can connect multiple platforms and keep track of all of their games in a single library. Having these games so conveniently accessible would be huge.
