Dead by Daylight developer Behaviour Interactive has announced that the Stranger Things DLC pack for its hit survival horror multiplayer game will be getting delisted on November 17, 2021, at 2:00 pm EST. More down to expiring licenses than anything, players with an interest in the Netflix series will need to act fast to ensure they can continue to play as Nancy, Steve, and The Demogorgon in the future. Sadly, the Hawkin National Laboratory level will be leaving the game completely.
Thankfully, if you haven't purchased the Stranger Things chapter yet, Behaviour is running a sale on on the content for the next few weeks. Between August 18 and September 1, you'll be able to nab the Stranger Things DLC for 60% off on all platforms. If you don't current own the game, there is a 50% discount on Dead By Daylight Stranger Things Edition. Cosmetics for the three characters will be on sale until September 8 and each individual character will be on sale until they are eventually delisted.

It's always a sad situation to see digital content get removed from sale. With copyright laws having not caught up to the 21st century, this is something we'll be dealing with for the forseeable future. At least Behaviour Interactive is giving players a fighting chance at acquiring the content before it's gone forever.
That may not be enough to assauge some people, but then I never thought Dead By Daylight will still be popular some five years later. The fact that it is still receiving new DLC in 2021 speaks volumes to how much better the game has gotten over the years.
