Fortnite: How to Avoid taking Damage while Dealing 100 damage to Opponents in a Single Match

Fortnite Epic Quests are a great way to earn a usually quick and easy 30K XP. This is great news for players wanting to level up and acquire Battle Stars, the newest way to unlock items on the Fortnite Battle Pass.

Some quests can be a little tricky, forcing players to go out of their way and search for an item that requires luck to find, or talk to a new Fortnite NPC they don't know where to look for. Thankfully, a lot of them are fairly simple, and this quest to avoid taking damage while dealing 100 damage to opponents in a single match is one of the simpler ones.

One of the best ways to deal 100 damage to opponents is to land in an area where a lot of enemies will be. Landmarks like Corny Complex and Holly Hatchery are good for finding both loot, and enemies to shoot at. Avoiding damage while dealing 100 damage can also be done while naturally clearing other quests, or going for the win, but this is a solid way to clear the challenge swiftly.

Nearly any gun will do, but the higher the rarity, the more damage it will do. So a Rare Assault Rifle is a better pick than an Uncommon Assault Rifle. Any close range weapons like shotguns are best avoided, as this involves getting close to an opponent, who will then have an easier shot on players. This isn't ideal, as getting hit will reset the damage counter.

Once a weapon has been located, it's time to find an opponent. Listen out for footsteps, or check the compass at the top to see if there are any red dots indicating which direction shots are coming from. It's better to catch an enemy unaware, as this gives more time to unload bullets into them. Although, only a couple of hits from an Uncommon Assault Rifle are enough to reach the 100 damage requirement, so it can easily be done during a 1v1 with an enemy who is shooting at players. NPCs like Trespassers or IO Guards also count as an opponent.

This challenge can be left until the end of players' to-do lists, as they might get the 100 damage without trying while completing the other Epic Quests for Season 7, Week 9. Like launching toilets with the Grab-itron.
