Fortnite: How to Deal Damage With Suppressed Weapon

Fortnite's Quests and Challenges provide battle royale players the opportunity to earn loads of XP towards unlocking new cosmetics from the Season 7 Battle Pass. Legendary Quests typically drop on Wednesdays, while Epic Quests drop the following day. For Season 7, Week 11 of Fortnite, players must deal damage using suppressed weapons in order to complete a quest and earn XP.

By using this short guide, Fortnite players will learn how to find suppressed weapons and deal fast damage with them. Fans will know a weapon is suppressed by the weapon title. Whether it's a sniper rifle, pistol, or assault rifle, the gun name will have the words "Suppressed" in front of it, making it rather simple for players to recognize.

Where to Find Suppressed Weapons

Suppressed weapons can not be found in a specific location in Fortnite, but that doesn't mean that they're difficult to obtain. Keen Fortnite players will find suppressed weapons in normal chests, IO chests, on the ground, and inside the chests in the Mothership. Currently, the Abductors are disabled, meaning that Fortnite players won't be able to get sucked into the Mothership to compete in the zero-gravity dungeon mini-game.

With that being the case, the best place to look right now is at one of the IO bases scattered about the map. These can be found by looking for the large satellite dishes emitting a red light. These areas typically have IO guards protecting the base, rare IO chests with IO tech weapons, suppressed weapons, and other useful items.

Search the bases for IO chests, regular chests, and floor loot. Suppressed weapons can just be found lying around if a player is lucky enough, and once a player has their hands on or two, it's time to deal damage.

Dealing Damage with Suppressed Weapons

Now, players can simply use the suppressed weapons to damage other human players, but there are slightly easier ways to get this done. If players attack enemy NPCs like the IO guards or the Trespassers, the damage will still count towards quest completion. Players should be able to find guards hanging out at the IO bases. And as for the Trespassers, players can head to any location with purple coloring in its name to find some UFOs.

Shoot down the saucers, and the aliens will come out of it. Make sure to use the suppressed weapons when attempting to deal damage. The Trespassers will use Kymera ray guns, so be careful with going against those.

Fortnite is currently free-to-play on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
