How To Farm Berries In Bug Fables

Bug Fables is a charming indie game that takes much of its inspiration from early Paper Mario titles. The game has a lot of things to do; this includes things such as side quests and collecting all of the medals. You will likely find that playing the game can be rather expensive, as the in-game currency, berries, aren't exactly falling out of the sky.

In fact, you may have already found yourself running quite low on the currency, especially after buying supplies for an upcoming boss battle. While there is no magic way to earn hundreds of berries in just a matter of minutes, the guide below will help you learn the most efficient way to farm berries.

How To Farm Berries Quickly

There are a few different ways to rack up berries in the game, but most of them won't be a thing until you've reached Chapter Four. Each of these methods requires a bit of set-up, but once you get started, you can easily start racking up berries.

Spider Method

The Spider Method takes a bit to set up but is completely worth it. Once you are able to navigate the Far Grasslands, pay a visit to the Wizards Tower and head to the

Longleg Summoner capsule machine, then fill your inventory by buying capsules.

  • Tip: The Quest "Best Friend In The Fog!" Must Be Completed For This Method to Work.

You will now want to speak to Rose in the Termite Capitol; she will take you to a hidden location where you will find a hole in the wall. Placing a

Longleg Summoner outside the hole will cause a small spider known as Pinky to emerge and take the item, leaving you a large sum of berries. You will always get more back for the

Longleg Summoner capsules than you paid to get them, so this is a great way to farm money.

Spy Cards Tournament Method

Another successful way to earn berries quickly is by building a strong deck and then competing in the Spy Cards Tournament on Metal Island. It cost 25 berries each time you enter, but if you win, you will get 150 berries.

The Interest Method

Another popular method is the Interest Method, which will take real-world time. To begin, you will want to deposit berries into the Bank of Bugaria found in the Ant Kingdom. The more time that you play the game, the more interest you build up. Try to deposit 500 berries as this will cause the interest rate to go up from the regular rate of 2% every half hour to 4% every half hour that the game is running.

The key is to leave the game up and let it run while you are doing other things. At the base rate, with 100 berries in your account, you will earn four berries each hour, and the bank can hold up to a total of 100,000 berries. There is an interest cap of 75 berries per hour, and you should keep in mind that your console can't go into rest mode, or it will pause the game.

  • Warning: Leaving your console or PC on for extended periods of time can cause extra wear, so be cautious when using this method.
