Even though it was released all the way back in 2019, A Plague Tale: Innocence is receiving renewed time in the spotlight due to its PS5 and Xbox Series X update and the upcoming 2022 sequel, A Plague Tale: Requiem. A lot of gamers are either going through it for the first time or revisiting the unique historical fiction title.

If you are playing with the intent of earning all the trophies or achievements, then you might need some help earning the ones dealing with specific moments during the campaign. In Chapter Four, you need to successfully play hide and seek with Hugo for the Found! trophy. The where and how of this might be a little obtuse, so read the guide to understand the details about earning this accolade.
Chapter Four
Reaching Chapter 4 only takes a little more than an hour. The specific moment where you can earn the trophy is about halfway through the chapter, after a small stealth segment.

Stealth is a main part of the gameplay and by this point, you can bypass most confrontations stealthily without having to kill anybody. If you are a violent person, you can still use rocks from Amicia's sling to fatally dispose of the soldiers in your path. For the most part, it is easier to throw rocks at metal helmets and buckets to distract guards and slowly crouch past them. While plenty of tools have not been unlocked yet, the training wheels are off and the tutorials are done by Chapter 4.
Playing Hide And Seek With Hugo
The stealth segment ends when you sneak through a medium-sized shack by the river. There are two guards inside and you sneak out through a window. Shortly afterward, you are walking towards a small garden and Hugo lets go of Amicia's hand and runs through the trees. Amicia is immediately worried about this. If you walk right down the middle, Hugo pops up and tries to scare his sister.
To get the trophy you need to instead sneak up behind Hugo and startle him. Head into the trees in the same direction as Hugo, crouching silently through them.

He is several rows down hiding behind a tree closest to the center. Simply crouch up behind him and the game will prompt you to scare him. Be wary not to pass him or Hugo will reveal himself and you will not get the trophy.
If You Fail
If you accidentally fail and do something different, do not fret. You can immediately restart from the nearest checkpoint and try again. If you are already past this point in the campaign or have beaten it, it is easy to revisit the moment using chapter select. Once you are accustomed to the game, it only takes about 15 minutes to reach the part and try it. As nice as it is to get the accolade, it is also worth doing for the minor narrative moment you would miss otherwise.
