PUBG Mobile Offering $100 Million To Its Community Of Content Creators

PUBG Mobile recently announced a new incentive for its massive community of content creators. Aptly named the PUBG Mobile Next Star Program, the team is offering up a combined $100 million to content creators that meet its list of requirements.

The PUBG Mobile Next Star Program is only available in select regions for now – including the Middle East, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Turkey – but is slated for a global roll-out soon. Applicants will each be reviewed individually, although you'll need a minimum of 50,000 followers on your platform of choice to be considered.

"The PUBG Mobile Next Star Program is designed to empower the global PUBG Mobile content creation community," the PUBG Mobile team announced. "To qualify, players must have consistent and high-quality content across all channels, while adhering to established guidelines and the code of conduct. Most importantly, creators must have a passion for PUBG Mobile and gaming."

The new program is the largest influencer program ever launched by the mobile game – and it hopes it'll help fund the next generation of PUBG Mobile creators. All told, the $100 million will be used to "provide salary, training, exclusive rewards" and other bonuses to those who are lucky enough to join the program.

"Content creators who are part of the program will have access to specialized training courses, invitations to exclusive events and esports competitions, as well as dedicated meetings with the PUBG Mobile team."

If you're a PUBG Mobile content creator – or are thinking about becoming one – you can learn more about the Next Star Program on its official website.

In other PUBG news, the PC and console version of the popular battle royale recently changed its name from PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds to PUBG: Battlegrounds. It's not a radical change, but one that allows future games in the series to simply brand themselves with the PUBG name along with an appropriate suffix – similar to what PUBG: New State is doing.
