Apex Legends only recently had a big update with Season 10: Emergence, which we outlined in our breakdown, but now there's another update – albeit far smaller. This time, the game's latest Legend, Seer, has been taken down a peg after fans complained that he was far too powerful.
We broke down Seer's abilities here, and now we'll probably need to update that information. Below you'll find the latest adjustments to make their way into Apex Legends today with patch 1.78, so you can prepare before you go into the battle royale.

This certainly doesn't mean Seer is a low tier character, mind – Seer is still incredibly potent when his abilities are used in the right context. For more on that, check our Seer character guide, and scroll down below for his most recent balance changes – and those that effect the rest of the cast, too.

Other
- Fixed several errors related with Seer

As you can see from the above list of changes, Seer has – broadly – been made a bit less powerful and overwhelming, though his abilities can still prove to be incredibly powerful in the right hands.
Other Game Changes
- Fixed a problem caused by Climatizer FX ("No existing effect for handle" error)
- Fixed an issue with challenges ("Array index -1 is out of range")
- Fixed most instances of Legends "holding a grenade" when they have none in their inventory (Wattson still suffers from this in some rare cases)
- Fixed an error with using multiple grenades on explosive holds (a following update later today will cause explosive holds to spawn closed again)
- Switch: Fixed Holospray display
Apex Legends Update 2
There was another small update following the Seer patch, which again included a short list of important changes which you can find below.
- Temporarily disabled Prowler in Arenas due to crashing issues
- Resolved a bug that was preventing some stats from being properly tracked. Missing stats aren't recoverable, but should track correctly going forward. Sorry about that one!
That's a lot of updates, mostly minor, but it should hopefully smooth out the experience for the most hardcore players.
