It's a pretty exciting season for Magic: The Gathering fans as the final weeks of the current Standard season rage on and players enjoy the Adventures in the Forgotten Realms. It will be Innistrad: Midnight Hunt spoiler season very soon and the big fall rotation will be arriving. In addition to all of those changes, there was also supposed to be a big update to Magic Arena today to introduce Jumpstart: Historic Horizons, but plans have shifted.
Due to some larger backend changes to Magic Arena, the big update is being pushed out roughly two weeks. That means that players won't be diving into that Historic Horizons content until closer to the end of August. That's obviously a bit of a disappointment for some players, but luckily the game is rolling out some other exciting content (and some nice perks) to keep players engaged during the two week wait.

One of the most exciting opportunities that will be available over the next few weeks are a series of Premier Draft opportunities. Amonkhet Remastered, Kaladesh Remastered, and Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths are all going to be rotating over the next three weeks and players can get one free draft of each for free during their respective weeks.
"The release that was planned for August 10 is now expected to arrive on August 24, with Jumpstart: Historic Horizons now scheduled for release on August 26.
We also need to delay adding the new Historic Brawl queue until this update as well, but for players looking forward to that, we will be adding a Historic Brawl event (with no entry fee) on August 12 that will run until the queue is available.
There are additional impacts here as well. Because Jumpstart: Historic Horizons is now starting closer to Innistrad: Midnight Hunt's launch on September 16, we're extending the duration of the Jumpstart: Historic Horizons event to run until October 14 so there's plenty of time to enjoy both sets."
"Given the additional time until Jumpstart: Historic Horizons arrives, we're also adding more Historic-themed Premier Drafts with a "twist" to help hold you over until Jumpstart: Historic Horizon's release: the first time players join each of these drafts, we'll waive the entry fee! Three free premier drafts is definitely a great reason to login over the coming weeks and even players who don't prefer the Limited format should take the time to enter the drafts to get those cards and any extra rewards they might earn along the way. Each format varies, so be sure to review the full spoilers for each and take unique drafting strategies into consideration.
