Riders Republic Is Getting A Beta This Month

Ubisoft has announced the dates for the Riders Republic beta which will take place from August 23 to August 25.

The beta will be available on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC, and will take between 19GB and 21GB depending on the platform. The announcement encourages players to register now for a chance to “join a massive multiplayer playground as you shred the snow, mud, and dirt in real-time.” You can apply for the beta here, although you'll need a Ubisoft account to sign up.

Participants will be able to send beta invites to two of their friends and, if you have a Ubisoft+ subscription active, you'll get guaranteed access to the beta. Ubisoft did note that progress in the beta won't carry over into the final game.

To celebrate the beta, the Riders Republic developers have shared a new trailer highlighting how the game works before players get a chance to dive in later this August. In the beta, you'll get to test out three of the game's careers: Bike Races, Air Sports, and Snow Tricks, alongside a number of different modes.

Some of the more unique modes include Mass Races, which are huge "epic, multisport" races with more than 50 players and Trick Battles that have 12 players competing for the most points and trying to capture different areas of a map by performing tricks on them. You'll recognise both of these modes from recent Riders Republic trailers.

The beta will also have free-for-all and versus modes included as well, although the focus seems to be on the races allowing for more players, and the zone-capturing trick mode. It's not made clear in the signup whether or not players will be able to experience Riders Republic's free-roaming map, but it makes sense that you'd be able to when trying out some of the game's careers.

Considering Riders Republic's recent delay from its original September 2 release to October 28, the team will now have additional time to take into account any feedback from the beta.
